Restoring the State Library’s Siding Ahead of New Roof
Our team recently wrapped up an important first phase on the State Library of Louisiana. Before we begin installing the new roof, the building needed a full pressure wash and siding restoration.

This step is essential for protecting the structure and creating the right foundation for the roofing work that follows. The State Library serves people across Louisiana, so treating the exterior with care and precision was a responsibility we took seriously.
A Clean Surface Creates a Strong Start
Pressure washing the siding removed years of buildup that can trap moisture and weaken exterior materials. Once the surface was clean, we restored damaged sections and reinforced areas that showed wear.
This work prepares the building for the new roofing system, but it also gives the Library the protection it needs right now. Clean, restored siding supports better drainage and helps safeguard the structure before the next phase begins.
Working With Care on a Place That Matters
Projects like this remind us why we’re dedicated to doing the job right the first time. The State Library is a place where students, researchers and families find resources that support learning across generations. Contributing to its upkeep is something we’re proud to do.
More Progress Ahead
With the siding fully restored, we’re ready to move into the roof replacement. This next phase will improve the Library’s long-term durability and efficiency. Our team is already preparing materials and coordinating the steps needed to keep the project on schedule.
