What started as a few leak repairs at the JCW Creative’s office on Government Street in Baton Rouge quickly revealed a much bigger story. A couple of years ago, CEO John Williams reached out about persistent roof issues. Each repair uncovered more concerns.

Instead of continuing to patch problems, he made a forward-thinking decision. If JCW Creative was going to call this building home for years to come, it needed the right system over it. That meant a complete commercial roof replacement.

A 6,500 Square Foot Challenge

This was not a residential shingle roof or a small retail space. This is a 6,500 square foot commercial building that requires planning, coordination and experience. Once our team began the tear off, we discovered the roof was in worse condition than anyone expected.

Because of the roof’s shape and the extent of the damage, we had to remove everything. The existing membrane and insulation came off. Portions of the decking had to be replaced. From there, we rebuilt the system from the structure up with new decking, new insulation, a new membrane and brand new gutters.

Everything from top to bottom was replaced.
